This ex-Northampton Town youngster was a regular in the club's reserve team last season and featured several times on the subs bench. He made his first appearance in the starting line-up for the LDV Vans Trophy game at Millwall scoring the Cobblers goal in a 4-1 defeat, but when further opportunities arose he was struck down with appendicitis. James is a wing back who can play on either flank if required.
