Jabo Ibehre continued to make steady progress at Leyton Orient in 2000-01 and after a couple of brief appearances early on in the season, he dropped out of the first-team picture for a while.
He played for the Under-19s in the Football League Youth Alliance Cup final before being thrust into the senior team at the end of the campaign due to injuries and suspensions.
Jabo made an immediate impact by scoring twice on his first start at Macclesfield Town and retained his place for the Play-Offs.
He is a quick, strong centre forward.
Jabo's Os contract was extended to June 2006 in March 2004, then to June 2008 in June 2006.
He joined Walsall in July 2008 with a one-year contract.
Jabo joined Milton Keynes Dons in July 2009 in a two-year deal that was extended to June 2013 in June 2011.
He joined Colchester United in January 2013 with a contract to June 2013 that was then extended to June 2015.
Jabo joined Carlisle United in July 2015 with a one-year contract.
He joined Cambridge United in July 2017 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2019 in May 2018.
In addition to the details below, in a League Two game at Accrington Stanley on 16 February 2016, Jabo was sent off after only 34 seconds for serious foul play.
However, his subsequent claim for wrongful dismissal was upheld and the red card withdrawn.
