PositionDefender/Left back

Brentford's longest-serving player lined up in an unfamiliar centre back role for the opening game of 2000-01 at Northampton Town.

Unfortunately, that was to be the extent of his senior experience for the season as he ruptured a knee ligament in training shortly afterwards and was out of action for the remainder of the campaign.

The Bees accepted their left-back's request to go on their transfer list in July 2002.

Ijah was made available for transfer by Bristol Rovers in May 2004 before his contract was cancelled in October 2004.

He joined Swansea City on a monthly contract.
