A hard working midfielder, Ian's two goals for Arsenal came in European Cup Winners' Cup ties against Standard Liege and Brondby.
Ian joined Wimbledon on a free transfer during the 2000 close season from Fulham where he had not played for the first team since suffering a badly broken leg some three years previously.
He made a handful of appearances for the Dons in the opening games but then dropped out of the scene as he found it impossible to win his place back.
An experienced hard-working midfield player, at his best he is an effective ball winner and man marker.
Ian has also played for Lewes, Grays Athletic and Dorchester Town.
