This powerfully-built Walsall trainee had very mixed experiences in his two senior games in 2000-01. Making his debut in the LDV Vans Trophy tie against Wigan he snatched a last-minute winner but in the next round against Stoke he received a red card as he battled to stem the tide for a weakened Saddler's line-up in danger of being over-run. He is a promising young defender.
