Moved to Southampton in September 1991 and returned to West Ham United via Crystal Palace in September 1995.
Iain is a veteran of some 350 club appearanaces and has had some 60 caps for Northern Ireland. He was mainly employed as an assistant coach at Queens Park Rangers last season. He played on several occasions as a central defender in the reserves and made a single first-team appearance from the subs' bench against Bolton in February when injuries decimated the club of front line strikers. Iain, who holds a UEFA 'A' coaching badge, subsequently left the Loftus Road club shortly after the departure of manager Gerry Francis.
