Full name is: Hugo Miguel Ferreira Gomes Viana
Signed for £8.5million as an outstanding young prospect from Portugal, Hugo's potential remained unfulfilled at Newcastle United.
He spent the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons on loan at Sporting Lisbon and Valencia respectively although his Toon contract ran to June 2008.
