Forinton had a frustrating time at Peterborough United in 2000-01 when injuries and loss of form meant that he rarely featured in the first team.
An early-season hernia operation kept him out until December and in the New Year, he was loaned out to Conference title-hopefuls Yeovil Town.
However in his second game for them, he suffered a broken nose and injured ankle and knee ligaments when falling awkwardly and he failed to recover match fitness before the summer break.
He is a bustling all-action striker with a good eye for goal.
Forinton's contract at Peterborough was cancelled in August 2002 by mutual consent.
He joined Torquay United on a non-contract basis but left Plainmoor after one only game for the Gulls.
