A record signing pre-Munich, Harry Gregg was a brave goal-keeper, agile and daring. A survivor of Munich, he emerged as a hero with no regard for his own personal safety, saving several lives. Amazingly within less than a fortnight he was back in goal, inspiring the patched up side on to Wembley. A shoulder injury blighted his later career, but he returned as a goalkeeping coach. A reluctant hero. A true legend.
