Shannon joined Halifax Town on a month-to-month contract last August and provided useful cover for 'keeper Lee Butler. His only senior appearance came in the Worthington Cup first round second leg tie against Tranmere Rovers when he gave an excellent performance. Shannon was released by the Shaymen in mid-February.
