Scottish international Graeme Souness was a hard-tackling and effective midfielder. With Liverpool he won the 1st Division Championship in 1979, 1980, 1982, 1983, and 1984, the League Cup in 1982, 1983 and 1984 and European Cup in 1978, 1981 and 1984. He went on to manage Rangers, Liverpool, Galatasaray, Southampton, Torino, Benfica, Blackburn and Newcastle.
