Having struggled with injury during 2000-01, Goran has just completed his most impressive season with Hajduk Split as he has replaced the injured Igor Stimac. Other injuries to Dario Simic and Igor Tudor led to his international debut against Bosnia in April. A powerfully-built centre-back, helped by his recent experience in European club competitions, Goran is one to look out for in the future. He is already said to have attracted the interest of Austria's Stum Graz.
