After gaining senior experience during the summer of 2000 in Sweden with Second Division club Trollhattans FK, Glynn returned to Stockport and quickly made an impressive Football League debut against West Bromwich Albion in September. He added a further appearance from the subs' bench against Preston before stepping back to captain the reserve team in the Avon Insurance League. He is a strong and powerful central defender.
