George Swindin

With Arsenal, 1st Division Champion 1948, FA Cup winner 1950 and runner-up 1952. George Swindin was signed from Bradford City in April 1936. His form before the war was erratic but he was first choice keeper after the war including for the 1947-48 Championship winning season. Later took over as Arsenal's manager.
