Former Australian international. George was mostly limited to reserve team football at Queens Park Rangers at the beginning of the 2000-01 campaign and it was not until the team adopted a 4-4-2 formation in the new year that he received a run in the side. A change of management saw another switch in tactics and he lost his place again towards the end of the season. An effective central midfield player George was released from his contract by mutual consent in mid-May.
