Amazingly prolific goalscorer, England international and hero to the Tottenham faithful, George Hunt's transfer to Arsenal in October 1937 was a massive shock. However, he only scored 3 goals in his 18 League appearances as Arsenal won the Championship and lost his place when Ted Drake returned from injury.
George appeared for Liverpool in the war-time games only.
