Gary Twynham

Twynham impressed in trials for Macclesfield in the summer of 2000 and was rewarded with a one-year contract, but only managed a handful of first team appearances mostly in a midfield role. He offered glimpses of his talents, often beating several opposing players with powerful runs into the area and he showed clean tackling and accurate distribution. Unfortunately illness and injury kept him out of contention and his registration was cancelled by mutual consent in February. He subsequently moved back in to the non-league game signing for Dr Martens League club Halesowen Town in March.
