Gary Gardner is the younger brother of fellow Aston Villa player, Craig Gardner.
He signed his first pro contract with Villa in October 2009.
It ran to June 2011 and was extended to June 2016 in May 2014, to June 2018 in August 2015 and to June 2020 in December 2016.
