Fredrik Bryngelsson

Having signed from Swedish club BK Hacken during the summer, Fredrik played in six of the first seven fixtures for Stockport County last term but then lost his place following the surprise Worthington Cup defeat by Blackpool. A knee injury then hindered his progress and he made just one more first-team appearance before the end of the campaign. Tall, quick and comfortable on the ball he possesses all the attributes to be a successful defender but sometimes seems to find it difficult to come to terms with the physical side of the game. Fredrik had previously played in Sweden for IFK Goteborg and Norrby IF. He was released by Stockport in February 2002.
