Full name is: Nuno Miguel Frechaut Barreto.
Frechaut is a versatile right-sided player who generally appears in midfield at club level but at full back for his country.
His senior career began at Vitoria Setubal in 1996 and, in the 2000 close season, he joined current club Boavista.
It proved to be an extremely rewarding move, for his new club won the Portuguese League title in 2000-01 and he went on to win his first full cap against Republic of Ireland in June 2001.
A regular in the national squad since that game.
He is solid in both attack and defence so should start at right back.
