Talia came to Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer from Sunshine George Cross in Australia.
Having joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2000 close season, Talia moved on to Sheffield United in September without registering a senior appearance at Molineux.
He joined as cover for regular 'keeper Simon Tracey but his opportunities were limited to reserve games and a seat on the subs' bench until an injury to Tracey gave him his chance towards the end of the season.
He had little to do on his debut in the home draw against Norwich City and went on to record two clean sheets from six appearances before he lost his place again.
Reported to have returned to Australia after his contract with Sheffield United expired.
Talia subsequently returned to England with notable success at Wycombe Wanderers.
His contact at Adams Park was extended in February 2003 up to the end of the 2004-05 season but was made available for transfer in January 2004.
