Signed on a long-term loan from Rennes, Fabrice looked a terrific prospect on the left of a midfield for Fulham early on in 2000-01.

He seemed to have all the attributes of a quality midfield player: brilliant ball control, pace and a superb shot, and few of the club's fans will forget his wonderful equalising goal against Manchester United in the FA Cup.

However, he struggled to fit into the team structure at Craven Cottage and was subsequently was allowed to join Glasgow Rangers in the New Year where he scored a great goal on his debut but was restricted to outings from the subs' bench.

Fabrice's contract at Southampton was extended to June 2006 in January 2004.

Fabrice joined Bolton Wanderers in August 2005 with a one-year contract that was cancelled in January 2006.
