Iriekpen joined Swansea City in August 2003 on a three-month contract that was extended to June 2005 in November 2003 then to June 2007 in May 2005.
He was made available for transfer by the Swans in January 2007 but his request was withdrawn a month later.
Iriekpen joined Scunthorpe United in July 2007 but was made available for transfer in December 2008.
He joined Bristol City in January 2009 with a contract to the end of the season.
