Having fallen out of favour at Aberdeen, Eoin joined Bradford City on loan at the end of December 2000 initially for three months and then until the end of the season.

He scored on his debut at Leicester in City's first away win and went on to form a useful central midfield partnership with Stuart McCall.

Eion's contract at Northampton Town was extended to June 2007 in June 2006.
