Doug Loft, who played for Chelsea during his youth career, joined Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2006 with a contract to June 2007 that was extended to June 2008 in June 2007.
He joined Port Vale in July 2009 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2013 in May 2011 and to June 2014 in July 2013.
Doug joined Gillingham in July 2014 with a two-year contract.
