Dimitar Mitov played for Chadvar Etropole during his youth career.
He was selected on Charlton Athletic's subs bench for the first time on 23 August 2014 in a League Championship game at Huddersfield Town.
Dimitar signed his first pro contract with the Addicks in October 2014. It ran to June 2017.
He joined Cambridge United in July 2017 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2021 in May 2018.
