Diego De Girolamo, who has Italian father, has represented Italy at youth levels.
He signed his first pro contract with Sheffield United in October 2012.
It ran to June 2015 and was extended to June 2017 in July 2015 before he was made available for transfer in May 2016.
Diego was selected on the Blades' subs bench for the first time on 4 December 2012 in a Football League Trophy tie at Coventry City.
He joined Bristol City in July 2016 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2018 in January 2017 before it was cancelled in January 2018.
