Denny Johnstone is the great-grandson of former East Fife and Queen of the South winger, Bobby Black, and nephew of ex-Sheffield United and Halifax Town forward, Russell Black.
He joined Birmingham City in July 2014 with a three-year contract.
Denny joined Colchester United in June 2016 with a two-year contract.
