Livermore gave some fine performances in the centre of the park for Millwall in 2000-01 when he rarely missed a match.

An enthusiastic left-sided midfield player, he creates pressure for the opposition with his effective runs, is good in the air and very strong in the tackle.

Livermore's contract at the New Den was extended to June 2006 in November 2003, then to June 2010 in December 2005.

After seven years at Millwall, he joined Leeds United in July 2006 with a two-year contract before joining Hull City two weeks later, also in a two-year deal.

Livermore joined Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2008 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in February 2010.
