A first-year professional at Mansfield, David made his Football League debut last September when he came off the subs' bench in the 5-1 drubbing of Halifax and he made the starting line-up for the first time at Cardiff the following month. Playing wide on the left hand side of the defence he likes to push forward and passes the ball accurately.
David was released by Mansfield Town in January 2003.
