David was made available for transfer by Arsenal in August 2005.
After a loan spell, he joined Blackburn Rovers in January 2006 with a contract to June 2009 that was extended to June 2011 in February 2007.
David joined Tottenham Hotspur in July 2008 with a five-year contract.
