Dave Rogers

Over 150 appearances for clubs both sides of the border. Unable to get a game at Ayr Dave moved south to join Peterborough for a three-month loan period last October but he struggled to break into the team and was replaced early on in his only league start. He subsequently returned to Scotland before joining Scunthorpe United on a short-term contract in March. He looked strong and assured on his debut for the Iron at Torquay, helping his new team to a 2-0 win but unfortunately he sustained a dislocated shoulder and ankle injury during that game which ruled him out of action for the rest of the campaign. Dave is an effective defender who is equally at home at left-back or in the centre of defence.
