A truly amazing goalscorer with Dundee, Sunderland, Manchester City and Orient, Dave Halliday had few opportunities in his year with Arsenal.
While with Sunderland, he created the record of scoring 100 goals in the top division in the fewest appearances (101 from August 1925 to January 1928 in League Division One).
