Farrell had another fine season for Peterborough United in 2000-01 when he was a near ever-present and netted nine goals.
The best of these was probably Posh's 'Goal of the Season' at Notts County when he turned the Magpies' defence inside out with a run down the left flank before cutting in to deliver a great shot into the roof of the net.
A wide left-sided midfield player, he causes defenders all sorts of problems with his blistering pace and mazy runs down the wing.
Farrell signed a new two-year contract with Peterborough United in May 2004.
