Rochdale's longest serving player, Dave was again in great form at the centre of defence in the 2000-01 campaign, rarely having an off-day, and missing just a handful of games all season through suspension.
He played his 200th game for the club in the 3-0 win against Exeter City in April and celebrated by scoring with a header.
Dave joined Wrexham in July 2005 with a one-year contract.
