A skilful, attacking midfield player with an eye for goal, Darren Ambrose was signed by Newcastle United for £1million whilst still a teenager.
Darren joined Charlton Athletic in July 2005 with a four-year contract.
He joined Crystal Palace in July 2009 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2013 in July 2010.
Darren joined Birmingham City in July 2012 with a two-year contract.
He re-joined Ipswich Town in September 2014 with a contract to January 2015 that was then extended to June 2015.
Darren joined Colchester United in August 2015 with a one-year contract.
