A promising full-back and Manchester United academy product, Danny Simpson found it hard to break into the senior squad and, after loan spells at Sunderland, Ipswich Town and Blackburn Rovers, moved on to Newcastle United to establish a regular first-team place.
Danny's contract at Manchester United was extended to June 2010 in September 2007.
He joined Queens Park Rangers in July 2013 with a three-year contract.
Danny joined Leicester City in August 2014 with a three-year contract that was extended to June 2019 in August 2016.
He joined Huddersfield Town in September 2019 with a contract to June 2020.
