A left-sided attacking player who was given few opportunities at Manchester United.
Danny Pugh, who joined Leeds United in May 2004 on a two-year contract, left Old Trafford in part of the deal which saw Alan Smith move across the Pennines for £7million.
Danny joined Preston North End in June 2006 with a three-year contract.
After a loan spell, he joined Stoke City in January 2008 with a contract to June 2011 that was extended to June 2012 in October 2009 and to June 2013 in December 2010.
After a loan spell, Danny re-joined Leeds United in January 2012 with a contract to June 2014 before he was made available for transfer in August 2012.
He joined Coventry City in July 2014 with a one-year contract.
Danny joined Bury in July 2015 with a one-year contract.
He joined Blackpool in July 2016 with a one-year contract.
Danny joined Port Vale in January 2017 with a contract to June 2017 that was extended to June 2018 in May 2017 and to June 2019 in May 2018.
