Naisbitt began the 2000-01 campaign as the second choice 'keeper at Barnet, managed but established himself in the starting line-up for a three-month period after Lee Harrison went down with an injury.

He eventually lost his place following the 6-1 defeat at Hartlepool United in December and spent the much of the remainder of the season on the bench.

Naisbitt joined Brentford in October 2003 and Peterborough United in March 2004 - both on a non-contract basis.
