Cullip missed the first few games of the 2000-01 campaign due to suspension but went on to become one of the key figures in Brighton & Hove Albion's Third Division title-winning team.

A no-nonsense centre half who commands the penalty area and is not afraid to put himself where it hurts, he has tremendous heading ability and excellent distribution.

He was selected by his fellow professionals for the PFA Third Division team.

Cullip went on the transfer list at Brighton at his own request in November 2001.

He came off the list in September 2002, and signed a new three-year contract.

Cullip joined Sheffield United in December 2004 with a contract to June 2008.

He joined Nottingham Forest in August 2005 with a three-year contract.

Cullip joined Queens Park Rangers in January 2007 with a contract to June 2008 which was cancelled in November 2007.

He joined Gillingham in February 2008 on non-contract terms.
