Coid had an excellent season for Blackpool in 2000-01 when he firmly established himself as a regular in the first team line-up.
He began the season playing as a right wing back but moved forward into midfield after the arrival of Gary Parkinson in March.
A versatile player who can also play on the left side, he netted the winner against Macclesfield Town in October with an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box.
Coid's contract at Blackpool was extended up to June 2007 in April 2005, then to June 2008 in June 2007 and to June 2011 in June 2009.
He joined Accrington Stanley in July 2011 with a one-year contract.
