The son of Rushden manager Brian Talbot, trained with Arsenal from the age of 10 but moved away from Highbury to further his career and joined Rushden & Diamonds at the start of the 2000-01 season.
He played in the Diamonds' historic first Football League game at York City.
Daniel has also played for Potters Bar Town and Chesham United.
