After developing in Coventry's U19s Daire first arrived on trial at Kidderminster last September and impressed the Harriers management by scoring a hat-trick for the reserves. However it was not until January that a permanent move was agreed and he went on to make his Football League debut at Mansfield towards the end of the same month. He featured fairly regularly on the left side of midfield for the Aggborough club and was particularly effective in the local 'derby' match at Cheltenham in April.
Daire's Harriers contract was cancelled by mutual consent in February 2003.
