Having been a regular for Crewe Alexandra in 1999-2000, Colin found it difficult to hold down a regular place in 2000-01 and appeared in little more than half the Railwaymen's First Division games.
A quick and lively striker he poses a threat when he runs with the ball at defenders and always tries his hardest for the cause.
Colin was put on the transfer list at Macclesfield Town in October 2003.
