After a loan spell, Cleveland - who is a Jamaican Under-21 international - joined Scunthorpe United in March 2004 with a contract to the end of the 2003-04 season that was extended for a further year in May 2004 then to June 2006 in April 2005.
Cleveland's contract with the Iron was extended to June 2008 in March 2007.
He joined Brentford in August 2009 with a two-year contract but was made available for transfer in May 2010.
Cleveland joined Burton Albion in June 2011 with a two-year contract.
