Ince continued to appear regularly for Trinidad & Tobago during their 2002 World Cup qualifying campaign to become Crewe Alexandra's most capped player having appeared in 38 international matches during his time with the Railwaymen.
Ince joined Coventry City in July 2005 with a two-year contract. He was made available for transfer in May 2006.
Ince's contract at Walsall was extended to June 2009 in May 2007 then to June 2010 in July 2009.
