Warren joined Queens Park Rangers on a 'Bosman' free in June 2000 but had to wait until Ian Baraclough was sidelined with injury at the end of August to claim a regular first-team place. He later suffered an ankle injury himself although he recovered to feature a couple of times towards the end of the campaign. He is a pacy left wing back who is capable of delivering a fine cross from the flank.

Warren went on the QPR transfer list in February 2002, joining Bristol Rovers on a non-contract basis in September 2002 but staying with the Pirates for a month before signing for Eastleigh.
