Holloway failed to start a game for Exeter City last season and was restricted to just a handful of outings from the subs bench. His absence was partly a result of niggling injuries, including a freak training ground accident that required over 30 stitches to a leg wound. When fully fit Holloway is a promising midfield player with a neat touch and good distribution. He was released by the Grecians in May 2001.
