Brandon appeared for Torquay United in the opening game of the 2000-01 campaign at Kidderminster Harriers but then had the misfortune to go down with a pelvic injury.
He made an abortive return against Halifax Town at the end of September but was forced to sit out the rest of the season.
He is as an attacking right-sided midfielder who is not afraid to run at defenders and head for a goal.
Brandon' contract at Huddersfield Town was extended to June 2008 in November 2005.
He joined Bradford City in July 2008 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in March 2010.
