Chris had a fine season for Bury in 2000-01, when he was an ever-present in Second Division matches and showed some excellent form.
Once again used in a variety of positions, he featured at right back, in midfield and occasionally as a central defender during the campaign.
A hard working player who always gave 100% effort he was voted 'Player of the Season' by the Shakers' supporters.
